Given continued covid regulations, there is a curfew in place in Bermuda for all Bermuda residents (to include our visitors). Any sitter booked must be at her home by 12am as of 6 June, 2021. Thus, all sitter bookings must conclude by 11:30am to allow your Sitter to safely arrive home. A penalty fee of $300.00 will automatically be charged to a client's account for a late return; even where provisions are effected for the sitter to spend the night.

Childcare Liability Waiver*
I / We hereby release and agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the host hotel / guesthouse and independent provider eThos Care ( "the Carer") its representatives, agents, and directors from all claims or liability for damages and/or injuries incurred by my children in connection with childcare provided at our host hotel / guesthouse as requested by me. I further acknowledge that I have reviewed and evaluated the risks and determined to use these childcare services with full knowledge and acceptance of the risks. I agree that the use of these childcare services shall be undertaken by me or my children at our sole risk, and that eThos Care nor the host hotel shall be liable for articles damaged, lost or stolen. I further grant permission for eThos CARe and its employees full authority to take whatever actions they deem necessary regarding my child's health and safety in the event I cannot be reached or in the situation where time is of the essence; and fully release eThos CAre and its employees from any liability in connection with those decisions, I grant permission for emergency medical treatment by a physician and/or hospital and / or emergency healthcare staff. Any such action will be taken in the best interest of my child and will be reported to me as soon as practicable. I attest that I have read and understand this disclaimer and the terms of this childcare liability waiver.

ATTENTION TRAVELLERS 10 MAY – 6 JUNE

PROTOCOLS FOR ALL TRAVELLERS

  • All travellers to Bermuda aged 10 and up are required to take a COVID-19 test no more than five days before arrival and complete an online Traveller Authorisation form.   As of June 6th, 2021, travellers will be required to take a COVID-19 test no more than three days in advance of travel.
  • All travellers are required to take a COVID-19 test upon arrival and be tested on days 4, 8 and 14 of their trip. Day 0 is classified as the date you land on-island. A return home test is also arranged for visitors. All tests are covered in Traveller Authorisation fee, auto-scheduled for your convenience and confirmed by email.

IMMUNIZED TRAVELLERS

  • Must have received the required dose(s) of their vaccine plus two weeks since last dose*
  • After arrival test, residents can sanctuary at home and visitors are invited to enjoy amenities at their accommodation property while awaiting lab result**
  • After negative arrival test, no restrictions on movement***
  • Must adhere to COVID-19 public health guidelines
  • * Children aged 17 and under are not required to be vaccinated and are not subject to quarantine, if the adults in their party are fully vaccinated.
  • ** Contact property for details on permitted amenities available for your use
  • *** Arrivals by midday typically have results in time for dinner; up to 24 hours in rare cases

NON IMMUNIZED TRAVELLERS

  • Are required to wear a wristband
  • Must quarantine at home or at their accommodation property until their negative day 4 test result is received*
  • Restricted activities relaxed after negative day 4 test
  • Must adhere to COVID-19 public health guidelines


CONFIRMATION OF SITTER BOOKING

  • You will receive a confirmation via email within 2 hours of this booking, detailing date, time, cost & the assigned Carer
  • Please return the card authorisation form to [email protected] to complete the booking within 24 hours of the reservation.
  • Upon landing / check in at your hotel, please send negative test results or #safekey to [email protected]     
  • Receipt of the negative test confirmation is REQUIRED prior to the attendance of your Carer.


TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Minimum 4 hours per sitting ; subject to any curfew observations.
  • Maximum 3 children per Sitter where hourly rate includes up to 2 children, the third attracts a surcharge of $5 per hour
  • Available days, evenings & weekends, Sundays at regular rate; Public Holidays & After Midnight at 1.50X regular rate where the after midnight rate applies for all hours between 12 midnight and 8:30am. 
  • For engagements of 6+ hours, the Carer will be provided with a meal on the guest's account where the value will not exceed $40.00.
  • Engagements are billable in 30 minute increments rounded up for any portion of a 30 minute increment thereof
  • Full fees are due and payable prior to the Engagement and will be charged to the card on file.


PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Payment is by credit / debit card. We accept MasterCard & Visa Only
  • Payment for services will be processed on the day of the booking where service is <3 days away.
  • Where a guest is off island at time of booking, 50% of booking will be charged at booking and the remainder at service.
  • Where 24 hours notice of a cancellation is provided, there will be no charge for services previously booked.
  • Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice is subject to a 50% penalty.
  • All engagements are subject to a 3 hour minimum charge and where a client returns early (using less hours than booked) a maximum of 1 hour  credit will be processed.
  • Your Sitter reservation MUST be confirmed with a credit card.  Please complete the card authorization form and return to us via email [email protected]  Or you may call us at 441 295 2273 to confirm with the Care Concierge within 24 hours of this online reservation.    Your reservation is not to be considered confirmed until the deposit is secured. 
  • For our mutual security, we must also collect your card billing address.  We are unable to process any card transaction without this detail.    We appreciate your understanding. 
  • Fraud Alert:   This charge will appear in the name of our parent company - Catalyst Consulting Limited.  Please advise your banking institution as appropriate. 

PUBLIC HOLIDAY SURCHARGE

There are 10 days that qualify as public holidays in Bermuda and attract the public holiday rate of 1.5x the standard hourly rate.   The remaining public holidays in 2021 are as follows:
